Review: Mexican Clay Mug

Mexican Coffee and Clay mugs can be a happy place for anything. This matte glaze fired pottery coffee mug was bought in past travels down to mexico, mazatlan. It has a unique matching twin and was bought at a local village market, hand-made by a local mexican woman. This Mexican  Clay Mug is perfect for those of us who need a slow wake-up in the morning with some Lumineers and Aztec blankets.

  • Looks: Brown Matte Fire Glazed Mug. Brown speckled with light and dark tones. Very bohemian with earth tones.
  • Quality: Great and long lasting. Clay. However, it hardly holds a cup of coffee.
  • Rarity: Rare
  • Overall: I would give this mug a 6/10. It’s wonderful for those imagined mornings (if we have the time to experience them) however the size stops us from fully enjoying a good long drink. The quality is great, as it has never cracked over the years, and its looks so subtle and calm, however the brown tones can be a bit bitter (like coffee – get it)

Gift Recommendation: Female or Male. Brown. Bohemian. Coffee Lovers. Aztec Decor. Clay Mugs.

Featured Drink is “Mexican Coffee” by Nelliebellie. Check out their delicious coffee here.

Get the mug: My find was one of a kind, however you can easily find something similar, like ZenKittyVintage’s Clay Mug for an affordable $6.87.
